A well-established medical center in Shreveport, Louisiana is seeking a Neurologist to lead and grow its newly expanded Neurology service line. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a balanced lifestyle with a mix of outpatient and inpatient care. Sub-specialty interests, including headache, are welcomed and supported.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological disorders.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Contribute to the growth and development of the neurology program.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications
Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Louisiana medical license.
J-1 visa candidates are welcome (outpatient clinic support only).
Sub-specialty interests are welcome.
Working Hours
Outpatient clinic hours with some inpatient hospital coverage (approximately 75% outpatient, 25% Inpatient).
Shared call rotation as applicable.
Skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Interest in developing sub-specialty services is a plus.
