Neurohospitalist Opportunity in Central Connecticut

Join the Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCare
Inpatient consultative neurology service at two Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Centers:
The first, a 156 beds location
The second which holds 414 beds
Manage acute neurological cases across ED, floors, and ICUs
24 weeks per year inpatient coverage (7-day blocks, 8AM 8PM)
Evening weekend coverage via teleneurology
Stroke care experience required
Opportunity to teach residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers
Engage in QI projects, clinical research, public lectures, and educational sessions
Participate in weekly Grand Rounds and monthly lecture series
Requirements:
BE/BC in Neurology
Eligible for Connecticut medical license
Interest in academic involvement and patient experience initiatives
