## Sleep Neurologist | New Britain, CT Central Connecticut — 10 Miles from Hartford ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent position * Schedule: Dedicated study reading time and outpatient clinical time — determined by practice needs * Autonomy: Work directly with Regional Sleep Medical Director and Sleep APP team — part of a comprehensive, rapidly expanding Neuroscience Institute spanning multiple subspecialties across Connecticut * Setting: Outpatient clinics and sleep labs — locations in New Britain and Southington, CT * Board Certification in both Neurology and Sleep Medicine required ## Practice Overview Seeking a BC/BE Sleep Neurologist to support comprehensive sleep services across outpatient clinics and sleep labs in central Connecticut: * Two sleep labs each with 4 beds — outpatient clinics adjacent to sleep labs * Current averages: 522 outpatient visits, 115 in-lab studies, and 92 home sleep studies per month * Work directly with the Regional Sleep Medical Director and a team of Sleep APPs * Ensure ample and equitable access to sleep care services throughout the region * Part of the Neuroscience Institute — encompasses vascular neurology, neuromuscular, movement disorders, epilepsy, headache and pain management, sleep neurology, neuro-oncology, neuro-ophthalmology, neurocritical care, general neurology, and neurosurgery * Collaborate with specialists across cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pain management, allergy, urology, radiology, and podiatry * Institute focused on comprehensive patient care, academics, and research with world-class Neuroscience leadership ## Compensation & Benefits * Competitive compensation package * Details provided upon inquiry ## Required Qualifications * MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology — required * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine — required * Connecticut medical license or willingness to obtain ## About the Community – New Britain, Connecticut * Vibrant city in central Connecticut — known as the "Hardware City" with a rich industrial heritage * 10 miles from Hartford — Connecticut's capital city with world-class arts, dining, and cultural institutions * Excellent schools and diverse, welcoming neighborhoods * Rich New England history with beautiful four-season scenery * Easy access to New Haven, Providence, and New York City via I-84 * Bradley International Airport offering convenient domestic and international connections * Close proximity to the University of Connecticut and Central Connecticut State University
