Immediate Opportunity: Outpatient Neurology Locum with Potential for Permanent Placement
Start Date: August 1, 2024
Location: Office/Ambulatory Clinic
Overview: We are seeking a qualified neurologist to provide outpatient coverage, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role. This opportunity arises as we aim to maintain community access to neurological care following the retirement of a valued physician.
Key Details:
- Practice Setting: Outpatient only, no on-call duties
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Patient Load: 12-16 patients per day
- Support Staff: Includes one RN, four LPNs, and one MA; plus onsite labs and ancillary staff
- Medical Team: Join a collaborative group of 11 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers
- Equipment: Fully equipped with EMG and Doppler systems
- EMR System: Epic
- Credentialing: Estimated to take approximately 120 days
Qualifications: Ideal candidates are board certified/eligible in Neurology and possess a current state medical license. Experience with EMG and Doppler preferred.
