A healthcare system in the Bronx is actively seeking a patient-oriented and compassionate Pediatric Neurologist to join their staff.

About the Opportunity

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business hours
• Setting: Hospital based

Responsibilities:

The Pediatric Neurologist will:

• Provide care to an urban underserved, under privileged including minority population.
• Provide outpatient care, inpatient consults, shared on-call, as well as resident and medical student education
• Provide consults to all departments and divisions in need of services by a Pediatric Neurology specialist, including but not limited to the following areas: Pediatric in-patient floor; Pediatric Emergency Department; ; Pediatric clinics; etc.
• Participate in all activities as required, including, but not limited to Resident Education, Quality Assurance and Joint Commission activities, among others.

Qualifications:

• Current unrestricted NYS medical license
• Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics and Infectious Disease (MD or DO)
