Neurology opportunity in Des Moines, IA About the Job:

  • Established and growing practice within a large multi-hospital health system network
  • Looking to hire neurologists in different subspecialties such as movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, headache, as well as general neurology,
  • Joining a team of 7 physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
  • Extensive subspecialty representation in the outpatient office including Epilepsy, Headache, Movement Disorder, Neuromuscular, Neurophysiology, and Stroke
  • 36 patient contact hours with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
  • Neurohospitalist support, primary stroke center designation
  • Excellent Neuroradiology department
Duties: Seeing an average of 15 patients/day No home call responsibilities Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Provide the best outcome for every patient every time Teaching opportunities with medical students. University of Iowa faculty appointment available Opportunities for administration involvement site lead or system level committees Qualification: Fellowship training in movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, headache, are preferred but not required Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state(s) in which physician provides services Eligible to work in the United States Visa sponsorship for J1 or H1b available
