Description
Noor locums is seeking a Board Certified Neurologist / Neurohospitalist for locum tenens coverage.
This is a strictly call-only opportunity with unrestricted 24-hour call coverage. The physician will only report to the hospital if called in and will round the following morning as necessary.
The role focuses on inpatient neurology consultations, including stroke and neurointerventional consultation, supporting a multidisciplinary hospital team caring for adult and geriatric patients.

Job Responsibilities
Respond to stroke consultations
Provide neurointerventional consultations
Evaluate and manage adult and geriatric neurological patients
Provide consultation and recommendations to hospitalists and other specialty services
Participate in neurointerventional procedures within the physician's scope of practice
Respond to urgent neurological needs when called
Round on patients the following morning as clinically appropriate
Document consultations and patient care in Epic
Collaborate with hospitalists and other specialty disciplines
Qualifications
Active Oregon medical license required
Minimum 2 years of experience
Epic proficiency required
Recent clinical activity representative of the requested scope of privileges
Experience with inpatient Neurology and neurohospitalist care
Experience with stroke consultations
Neurointerventional consultation experience
Comfortable managing adult and geriatric patients
Working Hours
Unrestricted 24-hour call
Schedule:
24-hour call coverage, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Call Structure:
This is strictly a call position. The physician reports to the hospital only if called in and follows up with rounding the following morning as necessary.
