Stroke & Neurohospitalist Physician Opportunity – Southern California
A growing physician-led neurology practice is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist with interest in Neurohospitalist and Stroke Neurology care.
This opportunity offers a balanced clinical model combining inpatient neurology coverage with outpatient stroke and general neurology follow-up care.
The physician will provide meaningful clinical care while benefiting from a sustainable schedule and a supportive practice environment.
Position Highlights:
- Primarily inpatient neurological care
- Dedicated outpatient stroke/general neurology clinic component
- No traditional call responsibilities
- Emergent after-hours support through dedicated teleneurology coverage

Job Responsibilities
Round on inpatient neurology service
Manage stroke and neurovascular conditions
Evaluate and treat general neurology patients
Provide outpatient follow-up care for neurological disorders
Collaborate with hospital physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Develop diagnostic and treatment plans
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Participate in a collaborative physician environment
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of accredited Neurology residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
Eligible for California medical licensure
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Neurohospitalist experience
Stroke fellowship training
Neurovascular experience
Experience managing inpatient neurological cases
Working Hours
2 weekend coverage periods per month
1 outpatient clinic day per week
No traditional overnight call
