Take advantage of an exclusive remote locum tenens opportunity for a Pediatric Neurologist providing specialized inpatient pediatric epilepsy and remote night EEG coverage. This flexible travel/remote assignment is ideal for physicians seeking schedule control while continuing to provide high-level pediatric neurology expertise.
The remote EEG role offers the flexibility of working fully remotely from 5:00 PM–8:00 AM, with approximately 5 EEGs monitored per night. MUSC will provide a laptop with Natus software for remote EEG reading, creating an efficient setup for qualified physicians.
Job Responsibilities
• Monitor approximately 5 EEGs per night.
• Read EEGs remotely using the Natus platform.
• Use EPIC for medical documentation.
Qualifications
• Familiarity with the Natus EEG platform.
• Prior travel experience required.
• Clean background and malpractice history for consideration of temporary privileges.
Working Hours
• Target start: October 2026.
• Fully remote night coverage: 5:00 PM–8:00 AM.
• Flexible coverage options:
o Individual nights.
o Full week of 7 consecutive nights.
o Weekend coverage beginning Friday at 5:00 PM, followed by 24-hour coverage Saturday and Sunday.
• On-call coverage required.
