• Seeking a Pediatric Neurologist to provide inpatient pediatric neurology coverage
• Provider will work on site during the day with overnight call responsibilities
• Coverage includes pediatric inpatients, ICU, NICU, ER, and neurology consultations
• Average daily census is approximately 6–12 inpatients
• Provider will round alongside the resident team
• Schedule consists of 24 hour shifts, typically Monday 8:00 AM through Tuesday 8:00 AM
• Coverage requirement is approximately 1 full week of consecutive coverage per month
• EPIC EMR is utilized
• Provider will work on site during the day with overnight call responsibilities

Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage patients in inpatient units, ICU, NICU, and ER
• Provide neurological consultations as requested
• Respond to overnight pager calls and clinical consultations
• Communicate with caregivers regarding patient concerns and treatment plans
• Provide continuous clinical coverage during assigned 24 hour shifts
Qualifications
• Active medical license applicable to SC practice
• Pediatric Neurology clinical experience required
• Inpatient pediatric neurology experience preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred
• Ability to provide on site clinical coverage and overnight call
Working Hours
• Typical shift: Monday 8:00 AM to Tuesday 8:00 AM
• Approximately 7 consecutive days of coverage per month
• On site daytime coverage with nightly call
• Average 4–8 pager calls per night
Skills
• Inpatient and critical care consultation experience
• Ability to manage complex pediatric neurological cases
• Effective communication with residents, physicians, nurses, and caregivers
• Ability to work independently during overnight call
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
