This assignment combines inpatient epilepsy management with advanced EEG interpretation, including convenient remote overnight EEG coverage. Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (average 4–6 patients per week).
• Interpret inpatient and outpatient EEG studies (approximately 8 inpatient EEGs/day and 10 outpatient EEGs/day).
• Provide remote overnight EEG interpretation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, averaging 5 EEGs per night.
• Utilize the Natus EEG platform for EEG interpretation.
Qualifications
• Experience using the Natus EEG platform.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
Working Hours
• One 7 consecutive-day coverage block per month.
• Monday 8:00 AM through the following Monday 8:00 AM.
• Remote overnight EEG coverage from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• No on-call responsibilities.
