Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Neurologist to join our team in Pensacola, Florida. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide specialized inpatient and outpatient care while participating in academic programs and resident education in a vibrant coastal community.
Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Evaluate and treat pediatric neurology patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.

EEG Interpretation: Responsible for interpreting both inpatient and outpatient EEGs.

Clinical Pathways: Adhere to, contribute to, and develop clinical patient pathways to ensure a standardized approach to pediatric care.

Consultations & Referrals: Accept patient referrals from other physicians and serve as a consulting physician for hospitalized patients as needed.

On-Call Duties: Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations for the specialty, including shared call coverage.

Academic & Resident Involvement: Participate in academic programs (medical education and research) and round with pediatric residents in your area of specialty.

Quality & Documentation: Ensure appropriate documentation meets insurance requirements, participate in cost-effectiveness and quality-improvement efforts, and appeal denials in a timely manner.
Qualifications

Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology.

Licensure: Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA registration.
