CHIEF OF CHILD NEUROLOGY

The Medicus Executive Search is proud to represent the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University (MCG at AU) in the recruitment of a nationally recognized Pediatric Neurologist to serve as Chief of Child Neurology. This is a rare opportunity to lead an shape a high-impact academic division withing Georgia's flagship public medical school.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow a collegial, mission-driven division with a strong foundation in clinical care, education, and research
- Shape the future of pediatric neurological care, with a particular emphasis on epilepsy, within a Level IV Epilepsy Center recognized for innovation and excellence
- Mentor and inspire fellows, residents, and junior faculty, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and academic curiosity
- Drive program development and strategic growth, with the opportunity to expand clinical services, research initiatives, and educational offerings
- Practice in a state-of-the-art environment at Children’s Hospital of Georgia, a 154-bed premier pediatric hospital serving as a regional referral center
Qualifications:
- MD, DO, MD/PhD, or equivalent, with completion of a Child Neurology residency
- Demonstrated academic achievement in clinical care, teaching, and/or research
- Proven ability to build, lead, and collaborate within high-performing teams
- A leadership style that values diversity, inclusion, and cultural competence
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the vision and drive to grow programs and elevate impact
