Healthcare United is seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Management Physician for a full time Pain Management opportunity in the Fort Pierce area of Florida. This opening offers a strong opportunity for a physician interested in a high earning interventional role with a patient base that includes a significant volume of Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation cases.
This position is especially well suited for a physician comfortable with the documentation, diagnosis coding, and insurance carrier communication that can come with PI and Workers’ Compensation patient populations. The practice remains highly focused on Interventional Pain procedures and offers strong earning potential in a busy outpatient setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform a high volume of interventional procedures
• Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
• Manage a patient population that includes Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation cases
• Maintain strong documentation and diagnosis coding accuracy
• Coordinate effectively with insurance carriers and related stakeholders
• Deliver care in a busy procedural environment with strong income potential
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, PM&R, Neurology, or related specialty
• Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management preferred
• Active Florida license or eligibility for Florida licensure
• Strong procedural background in interventional pain
• Comfortable with PI and Workers’ Compensation case flow
• Strong documentation and payer communication skills
