An established New England teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center is seeking an experienced Physician
Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for a part-time neurocritical care night position. The APP will join a
nationally recognized neuroscience program and care for complex neurologic and neurosurgical patients in
intensive-care and step-down settings.

Job Responsibilities
• Provide care for complex strokes, status epilepticus, spinal-cord injury, skull-base surgery, tumor
resections, DBS, and related disorders
• Develop care plans, order and interpret diagnostics, perform appropriate procedures, and coordinate
specialty input
• Educate patients and families and support safe transitions between ICU and step-down care
Qualifications
• At least one year of critical-care or neurocritical-care APP experience
• Connecticut licensure or eligibility
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively at night
