Full time
Overview
* An established nephrology practice serving patients throughout Northern Indiana is seeking a full time nephrologist
* Diverse clinical practice: inpatient nephrology consults and coverage at two hospitals (South Bend and Elkhart), outpatient nephrology clinics and dialysis management across multiple locations
* Care for chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, glomerular diseases, transplant related concerns and other nephrology conditions
* Round at area dialysis centers and oversee dialysis patients with multidisciplinary dialysis teams
* Work with physicians, advanced practice providers, hospital teams and dialysis staff, with a strong referral network
* Call is shared among the physicians. On weekdays, physicians typically cover either the South Bend or the Elkhart hospital, weekends cover both, and call mostly focuses on patients established with the practice, with a rotating unassigned call week
Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Board Certified in Nephrology
