Locum Physician – Pediatrics Opportunity in New York
We are seeking a Physician for a locum Pediatrics opportunity in New York.
Position Details
- Coverage: 1–2 weeks per month
- Day: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Night: 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM
- Weekend: Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 8:00 AM
- Primarily inpatient coverage
- Acute hemodialysis (HD)
- Chronic hemodialysis (HD)
- CRRT
- Acute and chronic peritoneal dialysis (PD)
- Acute and chronic inpatient kidney transplant care
- Management of complex pediatric nephrology patients
- Primarily inpatient responsibilities
- Limited outpatient responsibilities
- No fellow or inpatient APP support while on service
- Outpatient PD nursing support available
- Epic EMR
- MD/DO
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Nephrology
- Comfortable independently managing complex inpatient pediatric nephrology cases
- Experience with HD, PD, CRRT, and kidney transplant patients
- Must be comfortable providing inpatient transplant care
