Nephrology Division Chief Opening Cooperstown, NY
Full Time | Nephrology
Position Highlights:
Join and help lead an established team of 4 Nephrologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners
100% Nephrology practice
Approximately 60% outpatient clinic and hospital-based responsibilities
Approximately 40% regional travel to outpatient clinics and dialysis centers
Manage approximately 30-50 follow-up dialysis patients
Manage approximately 10-30 follow-up transplant patients
Potential Medical Directorship opportunities for dialysis units
Call averages 9-10 weeks per year, Monday 8:00 AM-Monday 8:00 AM
Epic and INFINITT EMR systems
Group-employed model
Academic environment with daily interaction with medical students, Internal Medicine residents, and Transitional Year residents
Potential faculty appointment
Leadership opportunity within an established Nephrology program
Qualifications:
MD, DO, or MBBS
Board Certified in Nephrology and Hypertension
Active or eligible New York medical license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Active DEA registration
Nephrology experience required
Leadership experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary of $400,000-$460,000
Uncapped productivity and performance incentive compensation
Medical Director stipends of $55,000-$85,000
Sign-on bonus up to $100,000
