Job description
This opportunity is ideal for a physician seeking outstanding clinical exposure, academic involvement, and meaningful community impact rather than a purely private practice environment. The hospital serves a highly underserved patient population, creating a uniquely rich clinical experience with complex pathology and broad nephrology exposure.
The department is led by a leader who completed residency at the institution before returning to lead the nephrology program. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and focused on education, patient care, and program development. Medical students and Internal Medicine residents rotate through the service, making teaching a meaningful component of the position.
This is an excellent fit for an early-career nephrologist, graduating fellow, or academically-minded physician looking to build a long-term career in a respected teaching environment with strong mentorship, predictable scheduling, and bonus earning potential.
