Position Overview
As a Nephrologist, you will provide specialized care to patients with kidney-related conditions. Your responsibilities will include outpatient clinic visits, inpatient rounds, and dialysis clinic outreach. You will also travel to nearby outreach locations once a week or month. With the support of a Nurse Practitioner and a collaborative team, you will ensure the highest quality of care for your patients.
Position Highlights
- ✓ Flexible full-time schedule
- ✓ Minimal travel to outreach locations, less than 1 hour from main campus
- ✓ Outreach schedule: Crawfordsville (weekly), Rensselaer (monthly)
- ✓ Call coverage: 1:4
- ✓ Average outpatient volume: 10-15 patients per day
- ✓ Average inpatient volume: 0-5 patients per day
- ✓ Nurse Practitioner support
