Assignment Details:
- Specialty: Nephrology
- Coverage: Call only
- Call Type: Beeper
- Response Time: 25 minutes
- EMR: Paragon
- Patient Volume: Approximately 7 phone consults, 10 patients seen, and 4 admissions per 24 hours
- Callback: Approximately 30%
- Support: 3 RNs
- Supervision: No APP supervision required
- Hospital Privileges: Required
- Admissions: Required
Clinical Experience
Experience with:
- Dialysis patient management
- Hemodialysis
- CRRT
- Peritoneal dialysis
- Post-renal transplant management
- Renal biopsy
- Hemodialysis catheter placement
- Peritoneal dialysis catheter placement
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Nephrology
- Nephrology fellowship required
- Active North Carolina medical license required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ABLS required
- Hospital privileges required
Credentialing:
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 days
