Job description
Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Interventional Nephrologist for a full-time opportunity in Manteca, California beginning January 2027. This is a true procedural Nephrology assignment focused on dialysis access rather than traditional outpatient clinic visits.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with no call. The physician can expect approximately 6-10 dialysis access procedures per day, including dialysis catheter procedures, declots and fistulograms. The clinical team includes radiology technologists, nurses and medical assistants, and the practice uses AdvancedMD.
This is a 100% outpatient procedural setting with an opportunity to discuss locums-to-permanent for a physician interested in something longer term. Board certification and an active DEA are required. California licensure is not required to begin the conversation - the client is willing to consider physicians who need to obtain the license, and Aya can assist with that process.
The client is targeting an expedited credentialing process for qualified physicians.
Interventional Nephrology is a specialized market, and I do not expect every physician to want the same thing from locums.
