Los Alamitos, California - Inpatient Nephrologist Opportunity
Board Eligible / Board Certified
Clinical Role
- Permanent, employed position
- Seeking a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Nephrologist
- Join a growing, collaborative nephrology group.
- Provide comprehensive nephrology care in inpatient settings.
- Rounding in 2-3 hospitals withing about 10 minutes’ drive from each other + Dialysis Center.
- Manage a broad scope of renal conditions, including:
- Chronic kidney disease
- Acute kidney injury
- Hypertension
- Electrolyte disorders
- Oversee dialysis treatments and participate in pre- and post-transplant patient management
- EMR is Epic and Allscript
- New graduates welcome
Schedule & Call
- Full-Time/Permanent position 9AM - 5:30PM schedule Monday - Friday.
- Must work 2 weekends per month.
- Remote cross coverage call every 3 nights
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible, Board Certified in Nephrology
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted California medical license
- DEA certification
- Strong commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation / Benefits
- Competitive salary - $350,000 - $400,000
