Physician (MD) - Pediatrics - Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage needed for clinic shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and night call coverage with an NP scheduled
  
• Clinic and night call coverage needed on the following dates: Tuesday 12/22, Thursday 12/24, Tuesday 12/29, and Wednesday 12/30
  
• 24-hour onsite coverage needed on the following dates: Friday 10/31, Thursday 11/26, Friday 11/27, Wednesday 12/23, and Monday 12/28
  
• Night call only coverage needed on Wednesday 11/25 (MD already covers clinic)
  
• Board certification required at minimum certified level
  
• PALS certification required
  
• Specialty skills in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required
  
• Preferred skills include non-invasive and invasive ventilation management for newborns and pediatric patients, intubation, conscious and deep sedation, central line and arterial line placement, UVC and UAC procedures, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, and X-ray and EKG interpretation
  
• Preferred NICU experience including Level II and Level III Nursery coverage, use of nitric oxide, ECMO, exchange transfusions, and attendance at high-risk C-sections
  
• Fellowship training required (minimum 2 years)
