Locum neonatology coverage at a Level III NICU and nursery in the Hartford, CT area, one week a month from January to September 2027. Pay is $300.00 per hour for coverage Monday to Monday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus $412.50 per night of beeper call, about 1 night in 4. You cover two hospitals about 35 miles apart. The NICU averages 14 patients a day, with about 20 in the nursery on weekends, and the work is 100% inpatient. Callbacks run about 2 to 3 times a week, 2 to 3 hours each. Temporary privileges are available, and credentialing depends on a clean background. Epic EMR. This is a local role with all-inclusive pay, and travel is not provided.
