Neonatology Physician Opportunity in Spartanburg, SC
Practice Highlights
* Full-time, permanent Neonatology position
* Join a team of 4 Neonatologists
* Practice in a 35-bed Level III NICU
* Average daily census of 25-29 infants
* Approximately 370-400 annual NICU admissions
* Approximately 3,400-3,900 deliveries annually
* High-acuity neonatal population with advanced clinical capabilities
* High-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia available
* 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage
* Strong pediatric subspecialty support including Cardiology, Pediatric Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine
* Participate in well-baby rounding approximately two weeks per month
* Collaboration with a Family Medicine Residency Program
* Academic-supported environment with opportunities for teaching and clinical leadership
* Family-centered neonatal care within a regional referral center
* Fellowship graduates completing Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine training and eligible for boards are encouraged to apply
* Every-other-night call during assigned service weeks
* Rotating weekend coverage during service weeks
* Permanent position requiring residency in the immediate local area
