Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana

Compensation: $100–$125/hour or $2,400+ per shift, based on location, experience, and position type
Join a Collaborative Level III NICU Team
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join a growing neonatal care team in Lake Charles, LA.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and clinically strong neonatologist to practice in a 12-bed Level III NICU within a collaborative 2-neonatologist model, supported by 24/7 in-house coverage and NNP support.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to premature, critically ill, and high-risk newborns
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation as needed
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of neonatal conditions
- Perform neonatal procedures within scope of practice
- Collaborate with NNPs, pediatricians, nurses, and other specialists
- Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and clinical status
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Participate in shared call coverage and team-based clinical responsibilities
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Strong clinical experience in NICU care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based medicine
Compensation
$100–$125/hour or $2,400+ per shift
