Pediatrix Medical Group, in partnership with Rapides Women's and Children's Hospital, needs a per diem neonatologist in Alexandria, LA. Holiday coverage needed: Dec 22-25 and Dec 29-Jan 2. Top of market pay, glad to share the actual number directly.

Job Responsibilities

34-bed Level III NICU, collaborative 2 neonatologist/4 NNP model, NNPs in-house 24 hours a day. Home call after rounds. About 1,500-2,000 deliveries annually. Newborn nursery rounds. NNP-led transport team, with the physician covering in-house during transports. Collegial, evidence-based team with quality-driven protocols.

Qualifications

Board certified in Neonatology required. Minimum 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience. Recent neonatology experience within the past 12 months required, must have been clinically active within the past year. At least 6 months of clinical experience in this specialty required. Prescreen questionnaire, CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained, and NPDB self-query pulled within the past month all required at name clear. Active Louisiana license or IMLC eligibility required.

Working Hours

24-hour per diem shifts. Holiday coverage needed: Dec 22-25 and Dec 29-Jan 2.
