Position Details:
- Specialty: Neonatology
- Location: Alexandria, Louisiana
- Shift Type: 24-hour shifts
- Position Type: Per Diem
- Holiday Coverage Needed: December 22–25 and December 29–January 2
- Facility: 34-bed, Level III NICU
- Coverage Model: 2 Neonatologists / 4 NNPs
- NNP Coverage: 24/7 in-house neonatal nurse practitioner coverage
- Neonatologist Coverage: Home call after rounds
Position Highlights:
- Diverse acuity and case variety within a 34-bed Level III NICU
- Collaborative, collegial, and evidence-based clinical team
- 24-hour in-house NNP support
- Focus on quality-driven protocols and continuous improvement in neonatal care
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neonatology
- Active Louisiana medical license or IMLC
