Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 34-bed Level III NICU with a wide range of acuity and case complexity
- Conduct daily neonatal rounds and manage patient care plans
- Oversee and support 24/7 in-house NNP coverage
- Participate in home call coverage after completing daily rounds
- Manage newborn nursery rounds as part of patient care responsibilities
- Provide coverage for in-house patients while the NNP-led transport team manages neonatal transports
- Deliver care aligned with evidence-based protocols and quality improvement initiatives
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in a collegial clinical environment

You Must Have
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- Board eligibility or board certification in Neonatology
- Louisiana medical license, or willingness to obtain
- Clean malpractice and license history, highly preferred
- Active DEA prior to start
- NPDB self-query pulled within the last 30 days
- Willingness to reside within the immediate local area; relocation may be required
- This role does not accept locums or visa candidates
