Position Type: Permanent

Location: Macon, GA
Shift: One week on, one week off; daily rounding with on call from home every other night
Position Details:
Patient Population: Newborns and critically ill neonates
Setting: 66-bed Level III NICU
Responsibilities: Daily rounding, neonatal care, management of high-acuity neonates, and collaboration with Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and subspecialists
Required Procedures: High-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling
Support Staff: Experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and readily available subspecialty support
Days Per Month: 26 weeks per year; one week on, one week off
On-Call/Weekends: On call from home every other night during assigned week
Submission Requirements:
- Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - Required
- GA license or willing to obtain - Required
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days - Required
- DEA must be obtained prior to start - Required
