Position Details:
Patient Population: Newborns
Setting: 6-bed Level II special care nursery
Responsibilities: Provide neonatal care, collaborate with pediatric hospitalists, cover the newborn nursery, participate in CQI and clinical research projects, and exchange best practices with Pediatrix providers
Support Staff: Pediatric hospitalists, neonatologists, and available subspecialty support
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour shifts with flexible out-of-house call schedule
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - Required
- VA license or willing to obtain - Required
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days - Required
- DEA must be obtained prior to start - Required
