Job description
We are seeking a Neonatologist for a locum tenens position in Durant, Oklahoma. This is a call-only assignment providing neonatal coverage in an inpatient acute care setting. Please see below for more information.
- Acute care hospital
- EMR: Cerner and Athena
Job Responsibilities
Manage patients within a 15-bed neonatal unit
Average daily volume of approximately seven patients
Perform neonatal intubation
Place umbilical venous catheters (UVC) and umbilical arterial catheters (UAC)
Manage both invasive and non-invasive ventilation
Perform needle thoracostomy
Complete clinical documentation in Cerner and Athena
Qualifications
Active Oklahoma state medical license required
An IMLC letter of qualification is not accepted; an active Oklahoma license number must be in hand
Active DEA registration required
BLS required
ACLS required
PALS required
ATLS required
ABLS required
Working Hours
Call required
Shift and call schedule to be determined by the facility
