Locum - Physician - Neonatology Opportunity in Summerville, SC!

ATC West Healthcare is seeking an experienced per diem Neonatologist to provide coverage in Summerville, South Carolina. This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a strong team of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in a Level III NICU delivering high-quality neonatal care. The position involves 24-hour coverage consisting of daily rounding and night call from home or hotel accommodations.

• Coverage Dates Required:
  • 8/29 – 9/4
  • 9/12 – 9/18
  • 10/10 – 10/16
• Candidates must be available for all listed dates
• Schedule:
  • 24-hour coverage
  • Daytime rounding plus overnight call from home/hotel

Job Details & Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal care in a Level III NICU
• Average Daily Census (ADC): 14 patients
• Collaborate with on-site OB staff and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) support
• Work closely with Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
• Deliver inpatient neonatal rounding and after-hours call coverage
• Participate in orientation and onboarding as required
• Follow established rate and engagement guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified in Neonatology required
• Recent Neonatology experience required
• Active South Carolina medical license or active IMLC required
• Must complete and submit prescreen questionnaire
• Current CV in MM/YYYY format with all employment gaps explained
• Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of submission required
