Neonatologist - Level III NICU | Macon, GA

What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive care in a 70-bed Level III NICU
- Manage critically ill and premature newborns requiring advanced therapies (e.g., high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, total body cooling)
- Utilize advanced neonatal technologies and therapies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurse practitioners, pediatric subspecialists, and surgeons
- Participate in rounding, shared call schedule, and teaching opportunities
- Educate and mentor pediatric residents
- Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based neonatal care initiatives
- Practice in a modern, spacious NICU opened in 2019 within a Level I trauma center
What You Need:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Active Georgia medical license (or eligible)
- Minimum of 1 year NICU experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
