What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU with 35 beds.
- Manage a high-acuity neonatal population, with an average daily census of 25-29 infants.
- Support annual NICU admissions (~370-400) and deliveries (~3,400-3,900).
- Perform advanced neonatal interventions such as high-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia.
- Participate in well-baby rounding twice a month in collaboration with Family Medicine Residency.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team of 4 Neonatologists and collaborate with experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.
- Engage with pediatric subspecialists including Cardiology, Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Contribute to a family-centered, community-focused neonatal program with academic support.
- Provide leadership and influence in a supportive, regional referral setting.
What You Need
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Residency within the local area may be required.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a rotating schedule.
