What You'll Do

  • Provide neonatology coverage for a Level-III NICU with 10 beds and approximately 1,000 annual births
  • Deliver care in a 20-bed newborn unit with daily support from Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
  • Participate in a 3-physician staffing model ensuring collaborative clinical coverage
  • Perform daily rounds in NICU and newborn settings
  • Provide clinical oversight, stabilization, and management of critically ill and premature infants
  • Support admissions, ongoing management, and family counseling
  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff, NNPs, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Take part in home-based call coverage rotation for NICU responsibilities
  • Work within a flexible schedule supported by daytime extended APP/NNP coverage

What You Need

  • Valid medical license in Georgia or eligible for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
