Neonatologist – Kansas City, Missouri | Board Certified/Eligible

- Shift: In-house coverage, flexible shifts
- Hours/week: Variable, based on unit needs

- License/Certs: Board Certified/Eligible in Neonatology
- Experience: Prior NICU experience preferred
- Pay package discussed upon application

- Provide direct in-house neonatal care at a Level-IIIB NICU with 49 beds
- Manage critically ill neonates using advanced therapies (e.g., iNO, HFOV, hypothermia)
- Care for extremely premature infants, including those as young as 22 weeks gestation
- Support approximately 450 NICU admissions annually with an average census of 30
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners
- Oversee or support care at Level-IIIA and growing Level-II NICUs
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical or academic pursuits
- Engage in out-of-house coverage supported via telehealth
Required:
- Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology
- Valid medical license in Missouri
- Relevant clinical experience
Preferred:
- Experience in high-acuity NICU environments
- Ability to work collaboratively across units
