NEONATOLOGIST - LEVEL III NICU
Practice in a full-service Southeast regional referral center
Position Highlights:
- Work-Life Balance:
- 18 weeks of service scheduled in 1–2 week blocks with flexibility based on desires of the provider
- Overnight call from home with APP frontline support
- Desirable Practice Setting:
- Full-service Level III 34 bed NICU with full respiratory support capability
- 24/7 NICU coverage model with in-house APPs and physician backup
- One of 14 NICHD funded practice groups in the country
- Academic Affiliation:
- Employed by University of Mississippi with faculty appointment
- Occasional teaching of medical students, NP/PA students, and nursing learners
- Virtual access to case conferences and educational resources
- Culture & Support:
- 2-year mentorship from UMMC faculty with support for promotion and long-term development
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive Compensation: $270K+ annual compensation
- Moonlighting Available: Add $29K with moonlighting opportunities
