Neonatology Role – 10 Shifts/Month + Full NNP Support | Georgia

Neonatologist Opportunity in northwest Georgia

• Ten 24-hour shifts per month with full NNP coverage
• 3-FTE Neonatologists and 5 NNPs
• Physicians provide on-site coverage during patient rounds only
• Procedures: NRP; Intubation; Umbilical Lines; Ventilator Management; Total Body Cooling; Chest Tube Placement

Department Overview:

• 24/7 NNP Support
• Level III 22-bed NICU with an ADC of 8-10.
• Provide services to patients as low as 23 weeks EGA
• Total Body Cooling with continuous video EEG monitoring (read remotely) and HFOV
• Provide transport services to 3 other birthing hospitals in the North Georgia area
• Academic center with opportunities to participate in internal medicine and family medicine residency programs, and the Medical College of Georgia.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neonatology
