Rates: $400/hr

Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: May 10, 2026.

• Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (In-house night call).

• Confirmed Open Shifts:

  • May: 10th, 24th, 26th.

  • June: 2nd, 4th, 7th, 17th, 23rd, 25th, 26th, 27th.

• Onboarding: Temporary Privileges approved for urgent needs.

• Support Staff: Team of 3 full-time, 2 part-time, and 4 contingent neonatologists.

• EMR: Cerner / PowerChart.

Clinical Scope & Volume

The locum physician will provide high-acuity neonatal care, including delivery room attendance and neonatal stabilization.

• Patient Volume: Average of 12 patients per day.

• Admissions: 0 to 4 per day.

• Bed Size: 15-bed NICU.

• Responsibilities:

  • Attendance at C-sections (Required).

  • Neonatal transfers (Required).

  • Note: Coverage of the Level I (Well-Baby) nursery is NOT required.

Provider Requirements

• Residency/Fellowship: Must be Fellowship-trained in Neonatology (Required).

• Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or true Board Eligible (BE) in Neonatology.

• Experience: Must be currently working (or have worked in the last 6 months) at a Level III or IV NICU (Required).

• Licensure: Active Michigan (MI) State License in hand (Required).

• Certifications: Active BLS, NRP, and ACLS (Required).

• Background: 100% Clean Background (Required).

• Submission Needs: * NPDB Self-Query report pulled within 30 days.

  • Statement of which specific open shifts the provider can commit to.

  • Local providers only (Only mileage is reimbursed).

• Standard Timeframe: 90–120 days.
