This facility is a respected healthcare provider featuring a Level 3 NICU with 15 beds, offering comprehensive neonatal care services. The hospital maintains a collaborative environment with a team of dedicated neonatologists providing specialized care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention.
Opportunity:
Physician - Neonatology
Job Details:
• Fellowship-trained Neonatologist position for in-house coverage 4-6 times per month • Schedule: 7 pm to 7 am, in-house call • Coverage needed from 3/24/26 through 12/31/26 • Level 3 NICU with 15 beds • Average daily patient load of 12 with 0-4 admissions per day • Physician will be required to attend C-sections • Responsibilities include transferring neonates when necessary • No coverage of Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery required • Documentation system: Cerner/Ecare/Power chart • Working with established team of 3 full-time, 2 part-time, and 4 contingent neonatologists • Must be truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatology • Active Michigan medical license required • BLS, NRP, and ACLS certification required • Clean background check mandatory • Mileage reimbursement provided for local providers
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
