Neonatologist - Full-Time Physician Opportunity in Lexington, KY

- Shift: Day shifts with home-based night call, 24/7 in-house NNP coverage
- Hours/week: 40+ (full-time)
- Employment Type: Permanent, employed, full-time physician
- License/Certifications: Medical license in Kentucky strongly preferred; board-certified in Neonatology
- Experience: Open to new graduates; experienced neonatologists preferred
Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (equivalent to competitive salary structure)

What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care for infants in a 32-bed Level III NICU
- Manage care for babies from a busy obstetric service supporting roughly 4,000 deliveries annually
- Support and perform neonatal procedures with hands-on expertise
- Collaborate with a team of 2 Neonatologists and 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners during daytime hours
- Participate in home-based night call while ensuring in-house coverage between shifts
- Work within a team-oriented, supportive environment with a focus on high-quality, compassionate care
- Engage in mentorship and professional growth opportunities, especially valuable for new graduates
What You Need:
- Medical license in Kentucky (or eligible to obtain)
- Board certification or eligibility in Neonatology
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Residency training in Neonatology
