This medical center is a respected healthcare provider featuring a 10-bed Level III NICU with capacity to increase to 12 NICU infants for short periods. The facility offers an integrated NICU approach where infants remain in LDRP with family when possible, with separate accommodations available for unstable neonates.
Opportunity:
Physician - Neonatology
Job Details:
• Locum Tenens position for a board-certified or truly board eligible Neonatologist • Must be fellowship trained in Neonatology with active IA license or active IMLC • Schedule includes up to 16 shifts per month with 24-hour shifts and on-call responsibilities • Care for neonates with gestational ages of 28+ weeks (younger neonates typically stabilized and transferred) • Work in a Level III NICU with an average daily census of 6.3 patients • Collaborate with 2 other physicians in a supportive team environment • No supervision of APPs required • Utilize Epic EMR system for seamless documentation • Access to on-site medical imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy services • Clean malpractice/background history required • Weekend coverage as needed • Must have current NPDB report (within 90 days)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
