Neonatologist – Denison, TX

We are seeking two full-time Neonatologists to join a growing, physician-led neonatal program in Denison, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality neonatal medicine while contributing to the continued development of a NICU with strong leadership support and a collaborative care model.
Position Overview

Level II NICU with plans to advance to Level III
-
12-bed NICU with anticipated growth
-
Approximately 1,400 annual deliveries
-
Average daily census of 6–7 patients
-
Supportive, interdisciplinary NICU team
Clinical Responsibilities
-
Manage neonates born at ≥32 weeks gestation and ≥1,500 grams
-
Provide care for convalescing infants following intensive care
-
Manage short-term mechanical ventilation (typically less than 24 hours)
-
Stabilize and coordinate transfer of critically ill neonates requiring higher-level care
-
Treat infants with perinatal substance exposure, including scoring and pharmacologic management
-
Manage low-birth-weight infants requiring feeding support, monitoring, and extended nursing care
-
Perform critical neonatal interventions, including CPR, oxygen therapy, and cardiac monitoring
Schedule & Coverage

Combination of in-house daytime shifts and overnight call
-
30-minute response time for call coverage
-
Approximately 1,100 NICU admissions annually
-
