Position Summary

The organization is seeking an experienced Maternal–Fetal Medicine Physician to join its expanding women’s health and perinatal team in the Renton area.

This full-time, permanent position focuses on managing high-risk pregnancies through consultation, co-management, diagnostic imaging, and procedural services. The MFM will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, neonatologists, genetic counselors, and perinatal nursing staff within a coordinated, patient-centered care model.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient consultation for high-risk pregnancies

  • Perform and interpret maternal–fetal ultrasound and diagnostic imaging

  • Manage complex maternal and fetal conditions collaboratively with OB/GYN teams

  • Support labor & delivery teams with high-risk assessments when needed

  • Participate in fetal surveillance, prenatal diagnosis, and care planning

  • Provide guidance for genetic counseling and advanced perinatal testing

  • Maintain timely and accurate EMR documentation

  • Contribute to perinatal quality initiatives, case reviews, and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

  • Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Maternal–Fetal Medicine fellowship

  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal–Fetal Medicine

  • Licensure: Eligible for Washington medical licensure

  • Experience: Prior MFM practice experience preferred (facility not considering new graduates )

  • Skills: Strong diagnostic imaging competence and ability to manage complex perinatal cases
