This facility is a prominent healthcare institution serving Wichita Falls and surrounding communities. It's recognized for its commitment to healthcare excellence with a Level II Special Care Nursery that provides care for infants with a 30-week or longer gestational age and a birth weight of greater than 1,250 grams. The hospital is working toward Level III NICU designation and features a collaborative environment with trained pediatricians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation services, and neonatal nutritionists.

Physician - Neonatology
Job Details:
• Per Diem Neonatologist position with immediate dates needed: 12/13, 12/14, 12/21-12/28, 12/31
• Neonatologist covers Level II NICU and newborn nursery
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns
• Enjoy a supportive work environment and access to advanced technology in the state-of-the-art NICU facility
• Provide family-centered care and support parents during their newborn's NICU stay
• Foster strong communication and collaboration with families and healthcare team
• Shifts are 24 hours rounding plus call from home/hotel
• Board Certification in Neonatology required (not accepting BE)
• Active Texas medical license required - no exceptions for quick credentialing
• Must have been clinically active within the past year
• Minimum of 6 months clinical experience within neonatology
• Clean background/no malpractice history due to fast credentialing process
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
