Neonatologist Opportunity – Tucson, AZ

A collaborative neonatology team in Tucson seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neonatologist to support a growing Women & Newborn Center. The position offers the chance to help guide the ongoing development of a Level II NICU, with aspirations toward achieving Level III designation.
Position Highlights
Level II NICU with an average daily census of approximately 5 newborns.
On-site physician coverage provided from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with neonatal nurse practitioners (NNPs) covering 2 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Equitable call rotation, with physician call-ins (30-minute response time).
Supported by experienced NNPs and a dedicated NICU nursing staff.
Full-time schedule and employment through a leading national physician partner.
Opportunity to shape the unit’s development and participate in ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
Board Certification or Eligibility in Neonatology.
Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
