Neonatologist Opening – Tucson, Arizona Position Details * Full-time, permanent position in Tucson, AZ * Hospital employed * Seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join the growing Women & Newborn Center * Opportunity to guide the development of the hospital’s Level II NICU, with plans to advance toward Level III designation * Level II NICU with an average daily census of approximately 5 * On-site physician coverage: 8 a.m.–2 p.m. * NNP coverage: 2 p.m.–8 a.m. with physician call-ins (30-minute response time) * Full-time schedule with equitable call rotation * Supported by experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and dedicated NICU nursing staff Candidate Requirements * M.D. or D.O. degree * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology * Arizona medical license (or eligibility) * Commitment to excellence in newborn and family-centered care * Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including: * Competitive base salary * Life insurance and long-term disability * 401(k) retirement plan * Malpractice insurance * CME/professional expense reimbursement About the Health Network For over 135 years, the health network has delivered exceptional, compassionate healthcare to Southern Arizona.
