Topeka, Kansas – Neonatologist Opening
Position Type: Full-Time
Setting: Inpatient – Level-III NICU
Location: Topeka, KS (approximately 1 hour from Kansas City)
Key Clinical Details
- NICU Level: Level-III
- Bed Count: 36
- Average Daily Census: 26 patients
- Team: 5 Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
- Call Coverage: Includes potential call and weekend shifts per department policy
- Advanced Therapies:
- High Frequency Ventilation
- Inhaled Nitric Oxide
- Total Body Cooling
- Amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG)
- Subspecialty Support: Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, Endocrinology
Licensing & Credentialing
- Board Status: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Licensure: Kansas license required (can be obtained)
- Visa Candidates: Open to J1 visa candidates
- Locums: Not accepting locum tenens candidates
- Salary: Competitive base salary
