Job description Topeka, Kansas – Neonatologist Opening Position Type: Full-Time Setting: Inpatient – Level-III NICU Location: Topeka, KS (approximately 1 hour from Kansas City) Key Clinical Details
  • NICU Level: Level-III
  • Bed Count: 36
  • Average Daily Census: 26 patients
  • Team: 5 Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
  • Call Coverage: Includes potential call and weekend shifts per department policy
  • Advanced Therapies:
  • High Frequency Ventilation
  • Inhaled Nitric Oxide
  • Total Body Cooling
  • Amplitude-integrated EEG (aEEG)
  • Subspecialty Support: Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Hematology, Endocrinology Licensing & Credentialing
    • Board Status: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
    • Licensure: Kansas license required (can be obtained)
    • Visa Candidates: Open to J1 visa candidates
    • Locums: Not accepting locum tenens candidates
